Paris Saint-Germain and Brazil captain Thiago Silva will be out of football action for a month as a result of a right thigh injury he sustained, according to L'Équipe.

The Brazil international will miss three French ligue 1 matches and two international friendlies.
The 29-year-old centre-back was forced off in the 13th minute of the friendly between PSG and Napoli, which his side went on to win 2-1. He will be back in action in mid-September, in time for the beginning of this year's Champions League.
The Brazilian will sit out domestic meetings with Bastia (this Saturday), Evian (22nd August) and Saint-Étienne (31st August). He will also be sidelined for his country's clashes against Colombia in Miami (5th September) and Ecuador in New York (9th September).
