Fans of Enyimba watched in horror as six-time Malian champions, AS Real Bamako claimed a richly-deserved 2-1 win over the People’s Elephant in a first leg, first round game of the CAF Champions League decided at the Enyimba Stadium, Aba on Sunday.
Enyimba must now win by two clear goals in the return leg in Bamako on March 8 to stand any chance of progressing to the second round of the competition.
