Carlos Tevez has been left out of Alejandro Sabella's provisional Argentina World Cup squad.
The Juventus striker had widely been expected to be missing from the party to Brazil, with his impressive form in Italy this season not enough to convince Sabella to bring him back from international exile.
Franco Di Santo and Rodrigo Palacio are both included alongside captain Lionel Messi in the forward positions, while Atletico Madrid loanee Jose Sosa earns a more surprising call-up.
Squad in full:
Goalkeepers: Sergio Romero, Mariano Andujar, Agustin Orionu
