ENYIMBA QUALIFIES FOR NEXT ROUND OF CAF CHAMPIONS LEAGUE

Enyimba have progressed to the first round of the CAF Champions League 4-3 on aggregate after they lost 2-1 to Anges de Notse of Togo in the return leg match in Lome on Sunday.
Enyimba won the first leg 3-1 in Aba a week ago.
They will now take on AS Real Bamako of Mali in the first round of the club competition.
The home team scored the opener in the 43rd minute, but Abdulrahman Bashir scored the all-important equaliser for Enyimba in the 66th minute.
The hosts then regained their lead in the 80th minute.
Nigeria’s other representatives in the competition, Kano Pillars, were eliminated on Saturday after they lost 4-3 on aggregate to AS Vita of Dr Congo.
Pillars won 2-1 at home, but had lost their first leg in Kinshasa 3-1 a week ago.
