SCOLARI UNHAPPY WITH HOWARD WEBB OVER OFFICIATING

Luiz Felipe Scolari was unhappy with English official Howard Webb after the Chile match: "The referees are reluctant to give Brazil anything. Who knows if we're going to win the title, but we're starting to get a little concerned", the 'Canarinha' boss stated.

"Our expectations and what we said seven months ago when the draw was made were vindicated. We knew that if Chile got through they would be tough, well-drilled opponents with good players", Scolari noted.

"Neymar's thigh is extremely swollen. [Alexis] Sánchez committed 15 fouls and dived 15 times for good measure. I think Neymar deserves praise because he kept fighting despite having a physical problem", 'Felipao' added.

As for the pressure on the Barça star's shoulders when he stepped up to take the last spot-kick, Scolari highlighted the forward's blend of youthful enthusiasm and experience: "It's as if he were 35 [not 22]. He took the penalty as if he were playing in his backyard, on the streets of Santos".
