Uruguay will appeal the ban imposed on Luis Suárez, lawyer Jorge Barrera has recently confirmed.
The Uruguayan Football Association (AUF) and the footballer have a period of 21 days to lodge an appeal, but as Uruguay play Colombia in the last 16 of the World Cup on Saturday, the appeal will more than likely be lodged in the next few hours.
