TONI KROOS EXPLAINS OUTBURST

German International Toni Kroos has explained his controversial outburst following his substitution during Bayern Munich’s 2-1 win against Stuttgart on Wednesday.
Kroos, 24, was swapped for Claudio Pizarro on the hour mark during Bayern’s Bundesliga victory. At the time of the substitution, Stuttgart were leading 1-0, before Pizarro, 35, equalised with a header 16 minutes later.
When taken off by Bayern coach Pep Guardiola, the Germany international appeared less than happy, throwing his gloves towards the bench.“I did not expect to be substituted. But I have to accept it the way it is,” Kroos told Bild. “I was also a bit annoyed that we were losing at the time of my substitution.”Kroos’ reaction -- amid ongoing speculation about a possible move to United -- as well as the Mario Mandzukic unrest in recent weeks, led German tabloid Bild to run the headline “Seething Bayern” on Friday.
Meanwhile, the Treble holders are currently preparing for their next Bundesliga match against Eintracht Frankfurt on Sunday.On Thursday, Arjen Robben, Javi Martinez, Daniel van Buyten and Franck Ribery, who all missed the Stuttgart match, returned to team training.“I’ve trained well today. I hope that I can play against Frankfurt on Sunday,” Ribery, who was absent on Wednesday due to a muscle problem, told the club’s official website.
Frankfurt are set to rest two of their key players for the Bayern clash, with defender Carlos Zambrano and midfielder Sebastian Rode -- who will join the Bavarians on a free transfer in the summer -- both due to miss out as they are one yellow card away from a suspension.
