MATA WELCOMED AT MAN UNITED

Juan Mata has left Chelsea for Manchester United with the club's blessing and wrote a goodbye message to fans on his personal website.
On the Chelsea website, manager Jose Mourinho said: "I and everyone at Chelsea have massive respect for Juan and his big talent, and when he told us of his wish to move on because he wanted to play more, we did not want to deny him this opportunity. We want him to be successful in his career and as well as that, this transfer makes huge financial sense to us at Chelsea."We are pleased Juan will stay in England - even with a rival club. He is happy in this country and it is good the Premier League retains such a talented player. Juan moves with our full blessing and I can speak on behalf of everyone at the club in thanking him for his fantastic service, and wishing him well for his future."THANK YOU GRACIAS @ChelseaFC for everything during all these years .
Meanwhile, there was also an emotional farewell from fellow Spaniard Fernando Torres, who posted a picture of himself and Mata celebrating Chelsea's Champions League triumph of 2012 on Instagram. Accompanying the picture was the message: "Thanks for everything. I miss you already my friend. #allthebest".
Mata was also welcomed to Manchester United by several of the club's stars. Robin van Persie was quick to welcome his new teammate, and also hinted that he is set to return to the United squad for their Premier League game against Cardiff on Tuesday.
Mata's compatriot David de Gea also poked fun at Mata's choice of outfit which certainly looked out of place on the muddy pitches of Carrington. He tweeted: "Welcome to my brother @juanmata10 just one thing....Not the best clothes!!"
