WEST HAM SIGNS BORRIELLO AND NOCERINO

West Ham have announced the signing of Italy duo Marco Borriello and Antonio Nocerino on loan until the end of the season.
AC Milan midfielder Nocerino, 28, is an Italy international who scored one of the penalties that knocked out England at the quarterfinal stage of Euro 2012. He began his career at Juventus, before spending time on loan at Genoa, Messina and Piacenza before joining Palermo in 2008.Nocerino left for AC Milan in the summer of 2011 but has fallen out of favour this season and has opted to continue his career in London in the hope of raising his chances of playing for Italy at the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.
Borriello joins the Hammers from Serie A club AS Roma and, according to the West Ham website, "will add strength, presence and goals to Sam Allardyce's squad."
The 31-year-old has netted nearly 100 career goals for Roma, AC Milan, Juventus and Genoa, among others and the striker will also be hopeful of raising his chances of playing for his country in Brazil.
