SEEDORF'S MILAN LOSES TO UDINESE

Udinese brought a shuddering halt to Clarence Seedorf's winning start to life as coach of AC Milan after posting a 2-1 win in Wednesday night's Coppa Italia quarter-final tie at the San Siro.Milan appeared poised to build on the 1-0 triumph over Hellas Verona in Seedorf's first game in charge when Mario Balotelli fired the opening goal after just seven minutes. But the hosts failed to kick on from that point and Udinese - who trail Milan by five points in Serie A - found an equaliser when Luis Muriel swept home a penalty four minutes before the interval. And Seedorf's first loss in his maiden managerial role was sealed 13 minutes from the end when substitute Nicolas Lopez fired home just moments after entering the action. Fiorentina or Siena, who meet on Thursday night, await Udinese in the last four.
