Cameroon are the latest team to express fears over Ebola and have asked for their Africa Cup of Nations qualifier in DR Congo to be moved.
African Nations Cup 2015 Qualifier: Cameroon want tie moved from DR Congo
The Cameroon Football Federation (Fecafoot) is waiting a response from the Confederation of African Football (Caf) regarding the 6 September match.
Its request follows the confirmation of cases of the deadly virus in the Central African country.
"We are now waiting for Caf's reaction and I'll also want to add that we're working with authorities in charge of Ebola prevention in Cameroon for instructions on how to proceed,'' Fecafoot president president Joseph Owona said.
"It's a sufficiently delicate matter.''
Caf has already told Sierra Leone and Guinea to move their home matches, with the latter now playing their 5 September game against Togo in Morocco.
Although Caf had insisted games elsewhere should go ahead as planned, that might not be possible with governments now overruling football bodies to prevent the spread of Ebola.
Owona said the Cameroon football federation would follow its government's instructions over the trip to DR Congo's southern city of Lubumbashi should Caf refuses to move the game.
