JOSE MOURINHO UPSET BY CHELSEA POOR DEFENDING AGAINST EVERTON

Jose Mourinho insisted watching his Chelsea side beat Everton 6-3 to maintain their 100% record was not enjoyable because defensive lapses scarred the win at Goodison Park.

The league leaders registered a Diego Costa brace and efforts by Branislav Ivanovic, Nemanja Matic and Ramires, as well as a Seamus Coleman own goal.
However, Kevin Mirallas, Seamus Coleman and Samuel Eto'o scored for Everton.
"It was wonderful for everyone watching - but not for me," said Mourinho.
"We cannot make so many defensive mistakes. Today we showed we are improving in other areas but not keeping the balance in defence."

The Stamford Bridge side were not behind at any stage of the contest after scoring twice in the opening three minutes.
But their manager was angry at the manner in which his players defended set pieces.
"Wednesday afternoon we spent 90 minutes defending corners and free-kicks," Mourinho explained.
"But today we conceded from a free-kick so I cannot be happy with the ridiculous goal we conceded."
