Over 6,000 Atlético Madrid fans were present to welcome French striker Antoine Griezmann during his presentation at the Vicente Calderón, during which the Frenchman showcased the number 7 shirt in front of his new fans.

The 23-year-old France international's press conference held up his first public appearance at the stadium, but afterwards he appeared to be in no hurry to leave his new home ground.
Fully at ease throughout, Griezmann even challenged the different sections of the stadium to cheer louder so that he knew which stand he was kicking the ball towards. He also took a 'selfie' with the stands where the Atlético fans were gathered.
"Thank you very much for this welcome, hopefully we can enjoy this coming year. I promise you my full commitment, hard work and hopefully a lot of goals. Thanks", the club's new number '7' told the fans he will be playing for over the next six seasons.
The French striker's welcome went exactly to plan, with the singing of the club's anthem, several chants to club legend Luis Aragonés and several requests for the new signing to kiss his badge.
Griezmann, who has been training for several days with those players who did not go on the club's American tour, will meet the rest of his teammates tomorrow, given that the first-team are expected to train in the afternoon after they touch down in Madrid.
