Angel di María and Sami Khedira both have one foot out the door at Real Madrid. The last 48 hours have seen Carlo Ancelotti put paid to any chance of the players remaining in the Spanish capital through a perfectly outlined strategy with the club. Both will seek pastures new next week.

The Argentine and German experienced something peculiar on Friday. Both were included in the initial 22 for the Spanish Super Cup as announced by the Italian coach on Thursday. When they arrived at Valdebebas, however, they were informed that they would not be in the final group for the trip to the Calderón.
Both World Cup stars were visibly annoyed on leaving the training ground to the disbelief of their teammates, who found out the final squad a long time before the starting line-up.
Di María had some family time while Khedira jetted off to Leipzig to watch his brother play. The German could be reprimanded for travelling without the club's permission, although he does plan to report punctually for training on Saturday for a midday start.
Di María's future could lie with Manchester United, who would be willing to pay around.
