AC Milan have welcomed the Spanish goalkeeper Diego López, even though his signing has yet to be made official.

AC Milan manager, Filippo Inzaghi was delighted following the announcement that his side had reached an agreement for Real Madrid goalkeeper, Diego Lopez, insisting that the 32-year-old will help improve the team for the upcoming season.
"Diego López is very important. He is a very experienced goalkeeper who will improve the squad", said the manager of the 'Rossoneri', Filippo Inzaghi, in statements published on the club's official website.
Milan Channel, the official TV network of the Italian giants, tweeted the image they’ve prepared to welcome the Spanish goalkeeper after it was reported that they had agreed to terms to sign López on a four-year deal with AC Milan, with his medical and presentation set for Monday.
In an interview with Il Corriere dello Sport following the announcement, Inzaghi praised the signing of the Galician will bring “experience” in addition to talent, stating on his 41st birthday that the news had made his day.
“I’m very happy, this news has made my day.
“I think he will improve the team, Milan is making improvements. His arrival is important.”
Lopez is expected to earn roughly €2.5 million, plus bonuses, per season.
The 32-year-old keeper is expected to sign a four-year deal after undergoing his medical on Monday.
