DI MARIA TO LEAVE REAL MADRID WHILE KHEDIRA WILL STAY

Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti has confirmed in the press conference prior to tomorrow's league game that, although not yet official, Ángel Di María is leaving the club. Ancelotti also revealed Angel Di Maria, 26, has said goodbye ahead of a mooted move to Manchester United.

Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti revealed that Di Maria is leaving the club while Khedira will stay.
European champions Real have already signed Colombian playmaker James Rodriguez, for a fee that could reach £71m, and German midfielder Toni Kroos from Bayern Munich.

This morning he showed up at the Valdebebas training complex to say goodbye to his teammates. Ancelotti also confirmed that the Argentine forward had paid a visit to the club's training ground to bid farewell to the players and staff.

Ángel Di María and his club have given yet another sign that the player is on his way out.

This morning, 'El Fideo' didn't even turn up for the team's training session, just one day before the season kicks off. After Ancelotti's recent declarations and not including him for the Spanish Super Cup final, the Argentine could very well have been quite literally packing his bags.

It could be recalled that Ancelotti's comments last Thursday that Di María had turned down the club's contract renewal put forward by Florentino were a sure sign that the player was on his way out.

Now, the fact that he isn't even training with his teammates before matchday 1 of la Liga suggests that he is making last minute plans for his journey to Old Trafford and Louis Van Gaal.

The manager also said that Khedira's future had been sorted out, and that he was staying on. Sami Khedira, the other player who seemed on the brink of being muscled out of the 'White House', is to stay.

The Italian manager has assured that he will be 100% counting on the German throughout the season.
