The 20-year-old Spaniard is Liverpool's seventh summer signing after Rickie Lambert, Adam Lallana, Emre Can, Lazar Markovic, Dejan Lovren and Divock Origi.

Manquillo said: “I'm very happy to have signed for a club like Liverpool.
"I think it's one of the biggest in Europe. Any footballer would want to come and play here.
"When they tell you Liverpool want to sign you, I think like any player, you are going to be absolutely amazed and you don't think of anything else than going straight there.
"The immediate objective is to do the best I possibly can here. I've come here to try and secure a place for myself in the side and, if possible, stay here for many more years in the future."
Manquillo began his career with Real Madrid before joining their cross-city rivals at the age of 13.
He made his senior debut at 17 and played six times last season before suffering a vertebrae injury following an aerial challenge with Real Madrid's Cristiano Ronaldo in the Copa del Rey semi-final in February.

The player is already on Merseyside and posed with the new kit which he will wear in the Premier League this season.

Liverpool appear to be extremely satisfied with the latest addition to their ranks, saying of the Spaniard, "Solid on the flank of any defence and fearless in the challenge, Manquillo will bring his considerable pace and attacking prowess to the Reds' backline."

The defender has already passed his medical with the Reds and will be looking to enjoy some game time to continue developing as a player. Atlético wished the young right-back lots of luck in this next stage of his career.
