Guillermo Ochoa signs for Spanish club Málaga and was unveiled at La Rosaleda

He will now travel with the rest of the team which will be in Germany and Switzerland until next Thursday.

Moving to 'La Liga' is a dream come true for him.

Ochoa said: "I want to thank the club for giving me the chance to be here and for all the effort they put in to bring me here.

" I am delighted, as Málaga will open up the doors of the Spanish league to me, and I am excited by the whole deal.

"I have come here to give my all to help my teammates. The idea convinced me and the directors' keenness to have me on board really attracted me.

"The project is a serious and solid one. I take these kinds of decisions for my career, with clear and defined aims, always looking to the future. This is the best league in the world and I'll be playing against the best players in the world".

Ochoa, who has signed up for three seasons, will wear shirt number 13.

The Mexican goalkeeper said: "I've gone for 13 because it brings me luck. I am not very superstitious, but I was born on Friday 13th, and I made my World Cup debut on the 13th day of the month at 13:00.

"I hope to be as successful as Willy Caballero. Willy did a great job here, making history, and people have a lot of affection for him. But I've come here to make my own history. I hope to play my part, write my own story and that the side gets to be where people want it to be".

Guillermo Ochoa was one of the goalkeepers that performed very well at the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil.
