FIFA U-20 WOMEN'S WORLD CUP: NIGERIA'S FALCONETS BATTLE KOREA DPR FOR FINAL TICKET

Nigeria's Falconets will on Wednesday at Moncton in Canada confront Korea DPR in the first semi-finals of the FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup.
While Korea DPR are the only one of the four semi-finalists to have lost a game in the tournament, that defeat came against Canada in the last match of the group phase, when the team had already all but clinched their place in the next round.

Oshoala, Sunday send Nigeria into semis
Falconets battle Korea DPR in semi-finals of the FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup.
The setback was soon forgotten when the North Koreans eliminated USA in the quarter-finals, holding the Americans to a 1-1 draw before going through on penalties.
USA have now lost all four of their Women’s U-20 World Cup matches that have been decided by a penalty shoot-out.
Nigeria needed no such drama to win their quarter-final tie, and will be full of confidence after a commanding win over New Zealand. Displaying great speed and strength, the African side dominated the match from the kick-off.
Asisat Oshoala scored the second fastest goal in the history of the tournament, after 32 seconds, before adding a second on 12 minutes, sending her team on its way to a 4-1 win.
