Ronaldo trained normally with his Real Madrid team-mates in the session held by Carlo Ancelotti to prepare for the second leg of the Spanish Super Cup.

The Portuguese striker, who had to be substituted during the interval in the first leg due to a muscle problem in the rear of his thigh, took part in the drills with the rest of the team and is apparently back to full fitness.

Shortly after the training session and following an examination by the Real medical staff, the manager Carlo Ancelotti appeared in a press conference and confirmed the good news. "He is available to play in the starting eleven", he assured. "He's trained well today. He's put in a normal session and is available for tomorrow. He can start", added Ancelotti.

This means that Ancelotti now has the option of fielding his leader once again at the Calderón to get the goals which Real Madrid need to secure their second title of the season, after the victory in the European Super Cup.
