Atletico Madrid midfielder, Koke has aroused the interest of clubs such as Bayern and Manchester United.
According to the German daily paper
AZ, Bayern has a keen interest in acquiring Koke's services, and this
interest is manifest in Pep Guardiola, who is delighted with the way
Koke is playing, and is prepared to do everything he can to reel him in.
If he succeeds, then Koke would be the third Spaniard at the Munich
club - Thiago Alcántara and the manager being the other two. Koke has
already played alongside Thiago in the Under-21s, winning the Euro Cup
last summer. If the transfer goes ahead, it might involve a player
part-exchange of 22-year old Swiss player Shaqiri, who has been on
Atlético de Madrid's shopping list for some time.
In Britain, the Daily Mirror reports that David Moyes is interested in signing Koke for Manchester United in the January transfer window. The player would be a priority for United's manager to strengthen a midfield which is failing this season.
