PSG UNBEATEN RUN ENDS

Paris Saint-Germain's 26-game unbeaten run in the league was brought to a halt as they were stunned 2-0 at Evian. Laurent Blanc's side lost for the first time in any competition this season after late goals from Clarck N'Sikulu and Modou Sougou. PSG's stars were off colour as they wasted several chances to go ahead, and defeat leaves them just a point ahead of Lille in the table.St Etienne saw their bid to move into the top four wrecked as they were beaten 3-1 by out-of-form Rennes.St Etienne had lost just once in their last six matches but 13th-placed Rennes, who had earned only two points from their previous four matches, upset the form book with a 3-1 victory thanks to a brace from Silvio Romero and another from Romain Alessandrini.Julien Faubert scored the winner as Bordeaux moved up to seventh following a 1-0 victory over Guingamp in a fiesty clash at Stade du Roudourou.The 30-year-old France defender netted midway through the first half as Les Girondins claimed their second successive league win following Saturday's 4-0 result over Ajaccio.But their victory was soured by Lucas Orban's dismissal 10 minutes after the break before Claudiu Beauvue was sent off in the dying minutes for the away side, who have dropped to ninth in the table.Ajaccio rode their luck before Eduardo's 82nd-minute equaliser earned them a barely-deserved 1-1 draw in their Corsican derby against Bastia at an empty Stade Francois Coty.Both sets of supporters were banned from attending following troubles in both matches last season, which also included seven red cards on the pitch. With the stands bare, any ill feeling rarely bubbled over among the players after Florian Raspentino squeezed in an eighth-minute opener for the away side.Bastia had chances to increase their lead with Francois Modesto and Raspentino both hitting the crossbar before home defender Joshua Nadeau saw red on 62 minutes for a high challenge on Adama Ba.However, out of nowhere Eduardo drew the hosts level and salvaged a point.Struggling Sochaux's quest for only their second Ligue 1 victory of the season goes on after they slumped to a 2-0 home defeat at the hands of Reims, for whom goalkeeper Kossi Agassa was in outstanding form.Christopher Glombard opened the scoring early on following a defensive error and Prince Oniangue added a late second as 11th-placed Reims picked up their first win in four matches to halt their slide towards the relegation places.It did nothing to help Sochaux's bid to escape the clutches of the bottom three, though, and they remain rooted to the foot of the table and still seven points adrift of safety.
