David Luiz: I want to be back on the pitch as quickly as possible
Brazil's David Luiz ready for football action at PSG after World cup disappointment

"We haven't played well in two games, but we had some good games before. It happens in football'', the former Chelsea player explained during a press conference in Paris. For this reason he wanted ''to be back on the pitch as soon as possible."

"We will gain experience from this World Cup. I always aim to get better," the player added.

Whereas in the past they "only signed Brazilian strikers'', he added that ''now they want defenders too, which shows the quality''.

David Luiz admitted having "to accept the criticism" in the wake of the World Cup and learn from his mistakes. The defender said, "the first days after the World Cup were very difficult'', but claimed that it was behind him now. ''When you don't live up to expectations it's tough, but football gives us the opportunity to react quickly and learn a lot from a situation. I'm ready to do everything I can for PSG, to help the club grow and get bigger", he said.

Luiz stressed that his main objective was ''the same as his club'', namely to win the Champions League. "I have come from a big club and I want to dream bigger. I am lucky to be a part of this project and am grateful to the president and the club", the player said.
