Pep Guardiola: Manchester United cannot afford Bayern Munich players

The Premier League club spent more than £150m on summer signings after failing to qualify for the Champions League, including a British record £59.7m on Angel Di Maria from Real Madrid.
But Guardiola said none of his stars would be moving to Old Trafford.
"They don't have enough money, I am sorry," said the 43-year-old Spaniard.

Guardiola, speaking before the Bundesliga champions' opening Champions League match against Manchester City on Wednesday, added: "I saw they (United) spent a lot of money. It is part of the game.
"It just basically depends on the player. When the player wants to move - they are going to move.
"Manchester wants these kind of players and they decided to stay here and we are so happy for that."
Guardiola, who was part of new Old Trafford boss Louis van Gaal's Barcelona team before going on to coach the La Liga team himself, added that United's failure to qualify for the tournament showed "why football is magnificent".
"Every week you have to show you are ready," he said. "A bad 45 minutes and you're out."
