Luis Enrique said he was "extremely satisfied" with Barcelona's performance in their 2-0 win over Athletic de Bilbao and highlighted the "solidarity" of his team in defensive duties.

"In order to win trophies this season we have to be consistent in attack, which should be easier with the forwards we have, and in defence, which is more difficult", Enrique said before adding that his team can be "proud" for limiting Athletic to "few chances".
The Barça boss went on to say that his players "are starting to enjoy themselves" on the playing field and praised the performances from Lionel Messi and Neymar. "Neymar had the chance to show how effective he can be thanks to the assists from Leo. I liked the attitude in both attack and defence shown by all the players".
When asked if Neymar had been fined for signing an autograph when he was warming up for the match against Villarreal, Enrique categorically denied the claim. "The message I would like to send the Barça fans is that we try to manage the squad the best way we can. I'm not going to fine anyone for signing autographs", he said.
Enrique praised Messi's commitment: "Messi is not just the best player in the world because of the goals he scores, but also because of his assists. He's a player who can only be praised. He does things that most people can only dream about. I'm delighted he wants to be the best in the world in attack but also in defence".
