AFCON 2015 QUALIFIER: SUPER EAGLES CAMP BUBBLES FOR CONGO!

As many as 21 players have so far reported to the Super Eagles training camp in Calabar ahead of this weekend’s 2015 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against the Red Devils of Congo.

Eagles Camp Bubbles For Congo!

Officials said more players are expected to report before training Tuesday evening after only nine players trained in the morning.
The new arrivals were led in by red-hot CSKA Moscow of Russia forward/winger Ahmed Musa who scored twice for his club at the weekend,Lazio’s Ogenyi Onazi who missed his team’s loss to AC Milan in the opening game of the Serie A in Italy also at the weekend, Efe Ambrose of Celtic,Middlesbrough’s Kenneth Omeruo, Israel-based Juwon Oshaniwa, Sone Aluko of Hull City, and stand-in captain Austin Ejide whom we exclusively reported yesterday would come in today.
The spirit in camp in camp is very buoyant with the arrival of the super stars and Keshi says he expects the best from the players on Saturday in the game against Congo.
Also in camp are Mikel Obi of Chelsea,Nnamdi Oduamadi of Serie B side,Crotone,Elderson Echiejile of Monaco of France while Eagles media,Benjamin Muyiwa Alaiya told Complete Sports Emmanuel Emenike of Fenerbahce of Turkey would come in late Tuesday night.
As many as 17 players ttok part in yesterday’s evening training session on the pitch of the U.J Esuene stadium,venue of Saturday’s game with Cross River State Commissioner, Patrick Ugbe, former international Etta Egbe NFF Director, Technical, Dr Emmanuel Ikpeme, other Cross River state top government functionaries including the Special Adviser to the Cross River state government on security watching.
