Sunderland striker Jozy Altidore will captain the United States in tonight's friendly against the Czech Republic.

Altidore will lead the team in the absence of incumbent skipper Clint Dempsey, who remained at home along with the rest of the USA's MLS-based contingent.
USA coach Jurgen Klinsmann has included out-of-favour Stoke winger Brek Shea in his squad, and was forthcoming on the 24-year-old's frustrating predicament at the Britannia.
"He's stuck at Stoke," Klinsmann said. "It's an absolute bummer. It's bad."
