According to report from The Telegraph newspaper on Tuesday, Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho is "desperate" to sell Spain striker Fernando Torres.

The reason given for Mourinho's rush to sell the Spaniard is because he needs to respect the Premier League's quota for foreign players, which is set at 17 players over the age of 21.
The Blues surpassed this limit when Didier Drogba returned to Stamford Bridge.
Mourinho wants to hurry Torres out the door, and he's happy to listen to offers for the Spaniard, because another option the club is considering is allowing Petr Cech to move on - something the Portuguese manager isn't particularly keen to see.
