Brazil international playmaker, Neymar, and his girlfriend, Bruna Marquezine, flew into Barcelona from São Paulo on Friday. The Brazilian has decided to cut short his break and will enjoy his last few days of holiday in Ibiza, where he will continue his efforts to regain fitness following the injury that kept him out of Brazil's remaining World Cup matches.

Barcelona will allocate a physio specifically to shadow Neymar and monitor his fractured vertebra, sustained following a challenge by Colombian defender Juan Zúñiga. The forward is due to resume training with the squad on 5th August, but beforehand he will undergo a battery of tests to gauge the progress made by his back.
According to Brazilian newspaper 'O Globo', Neymar should be fit for the Gamper Trophy clash with Mexican club León on 18th August, as his recovery is reportedly going much better than expected. "I will continue to keep my personal commitments in balance as I recover from my spine trauma", the player himself has stated.
Neymar is chomping at the bit ahead of the new season, in which he will share the Barça limelight with Leo Messi and Luis Suárez. However, with the Uruguayan currently banned until October, Neymar has ample opportunity to make his mark.
