VALDES SET TO REUNITE WITH GUARDIOLA AT BAYERN MUNICH

Victor Valdés may reunite with his former coach, Pep Guardiola, at Bayern Munich. The Catalan manager has assured in public that all that is missing to complete his team is a goalkeeper and in Germany word is that in all likelihood it will be Valdés vying for a place between the sticks with Neuer. However, nothing has been decided.

The only thing that is clear is that Victor Valdes will train with the Bavarian setup to recover from his injury. Once match-fit, decisions will be made.

It must be remembered that, after Monaco had dropped Valdes following his injury. The French club decided not to go on with the agreement between both parties, as they were less than satisfied with the results of the medical tests the shotstopper had been subject to.

Monaco suspected that he would never be able to go back to being the great goalkeeper he was before picking up such a serious injury at the end of last season and then having to undergo surgery.

At the moment, Valdés is a free agent.

Valdés was operated on in Augsberg, where he is presently convalescing. If the player accepts Guardiola's possible offer, he will not only get back together with his old manager, but also Thiago, Javi Martínez and Bernat, who he knows from Barça, the Spain team and la Liga.
