Former France striker David Trezeguet has signed for Indian Super League outfit FC Pune City, as confirmed by the league on its official Twitter account.

The former Monaco, Juventus and Hércules striker will play under much-travelled Italian coach Franco Colomba, whose highest-profile job came at Napoli back in 2002-03, at the newly formed franchise.
Trezeguet found himself frozen out at River Plate, the club he supported during his childhood in Buenos Aires, despite initial remarks by new manager Marcelo Gallardo suggesting he could be handed a lifeline.
The 36-year-old's rift with River talisman and fellow forward Fernando Cavenaghi may have ultimately led to his departure.
