KLOPP DISMISS SPECULATION ON THE EXIT OF HUMMELS AND REUS FROM DORTMUND

The Borussia Dortmund coach, Jürgen Klopp, has refuted speculation that Mats Hummels and Marco Reus could be set to leave the German club.

"I can assure everyone that there is absolutely no indication that the two of them want to leave," remarked Klopp. "Marco and Mats will play for us next season," he added.

"Mats to Manchester United? For how much? €20 million? With those kind of sums you can forget that straight away," said the Dortmund gaffer.

Mats Hummels has a contract until 2017 while Reus' contract expires in 2015 and it contains a €35 million release clause. The Dortmund chairman, Hans-Joachim Watzke, has described the forward as "unsellable".

Reports from Spain had circulated earlier this week that Dortmund were ready to sell Hummels to Manchester United for a cut priced fee of around £16 million, whilst Reus has been linked repeatedly with a move away from Germany, with interest in the player surfacing from Liverpool recently.

The Guardian have revealed that Klopp will not entertain the thought of selling his star pair, dismissing the claims to German TV on Wednesday night.

Klopp said: "I can assure everyone that there are no signs that those two players want to leave. Marco and Mats will play for us the next season".
