AUSTIN EJIDE DEDICATES DAUGHTER IN UNITED STATES

Super Eagles of Nigeria goalkeeper, Austin Ejide put behind Nigeria’s Brazil 2014 World Cup poor show behind to dedicate his first daughter, Chimamanda Ejide before God in the United States of America, USA.

The ceremony which was held at the St Margaret’s Anglican Church, Illinios. Chimamanda was born just three days before the friendly match against USA prior to the team’s departure for the World Cup finals with the former Bastia shot-stopper unable to see baby and mother before traveling to Brazil with the Super Eagles.
Ejide already had a boy, Munachimso, before the arrival of Chimamanda.
“The dedication was held before he traveled to Croatia for the Europa League match with RNK Split”, offers the player’s agent, Stanley Ndukanma.
Ejide would however lament his team’s 2-1 defeat in Croatia by RNK Split in his European club competition game.
“It’s sad we lost after taking the lead in the first half. It was that dying minute penalty that cost us the match but then we look forward to reversing the result in the second leg match in Israel on Thursday”, Ejida said.
Elisha Levy’s Be’er Sheva would need a 1-0 win to overhaul RNK Split first leg win to advance to the next round of the Europa League qualifiers.
