NIGERIA ANNOUNCES FINAL 21-PLAYER-SQUAD FOR FIFA U-20 WOMEN'S WORLD CUP

Coach of Nigeria's U-20 women, Peter Dedevbo has announced his final 21-player-squad for the 2014 Fifa U-20 Women’s World Cup finals.

Coach of Nigeria U-20 women, Peter Dedevbo has announced his 21-player-squad for the 2014 Fifa U-20 Women’s World Cup finals.

The Falconets will be making their seventh appearance in this competition and have been drawn in the Group C with Mexico, Korea Republic and England.

Interestly in the list is Courtney Dike who is the younger sister of Super Eagles’ forward Bright Dike. The tall forward from Oklahoma State University is the only foreign based player in the squad.

The team will depart for Moncton, Canada through Frankfurt in two batches aboard Lufthansa Airlines flight on Thursday and Friday, from Abuja.

There are three goalkeepers, seven defenders, five midfielders and six strikers.
